Park Hill Nursery has been running for over seventeen years. During that time it has enjoyed great success thanks largely to it's dedicated staff who ensure at all times that your child is getting the best learning opportunities and care so as to provide a smooth transition to school life. All staff are either trained or have a number of years experience in child care and have access to regular training courses.

I (Heidi Burton) own and manage the nursery and am a qualified nursery nurse. I am committed to maintaining the highest quality of provision for your pre-school child and as such have built a culture of continuous improvement at Park Hill.

Our Aims

To provide high quality and affordable care and education for children primarily below statutory school age
To work in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop to their full potential
To offer children and their parents a service which promotes equality and values diversity
To offer a broad and balanced curriculum which is accessible to all children and takes into account children’s specific needs and abilities
To enhance and enrich children’s learning both indoors and outdoors by providing suitable play opportunities and ensuring that suitable resources are always accessible and available

We aim to ensure that each child:

Is in a safe and stimulating environment
Is given generous care and attention
Has the chance to join with other children and adults to play, work and learn together
Is helped to take forward their learning and development by being helped to build on what they already know and can do
Has a personal key worker who ensures that each child makes satisfying progress
Is in a Nursery which parents help to shape the service we offer
